Today I am an adult

I know that I never get on here to write, but I feel like today I should. Plus I'm in math class and I'm really not paying attention so why not right? Today, May 8th, 2012 I am 20 years old. I know it's only been a year, but today I woke up and I just felt so different. I actually feel older. I never usually do. When people ask how old I am, I'm prone to say the wrong age for about half the year. However yesterday when I was asked how old I was I said "20" without hesitation. It wasn't necessarily true at the time, but I've just been so excited to be 20 that I didn't care. I doubt that I'm any wiser now that I'm 20. I don't think I'm any smarter, and I don't think I grew any. Today just feels like the start of a brand new life! Time to grow up. No more fun. Bring on more responsibilities! Nah I'm kidding...I hope that's not all true.

I don't know why. I have to say it has been a pretty great birthday so far! Anson (my favorite boy in the world pretty much) came into town for my birthday and he took me to lunch down in Idaho Falls (at chick-fil-a of course ). He also took me to see the Avengers with my best buds in Idaho and it was AMAZING! I have to say it's probably my 2nd favorite superhero movie of all times (the first of course being The Dark Knight) It was HILARIOUS! If you have not seen it yet, I encourage you to go as soon as possible! It's got nonstop action from about the middle to the end. It is also (surprisingly) extremely funny. I loved it from beginning to end. After the movie I was surprised with a delicious cake made by some friends. It was delicious and it was such a nice surprise. I am so grateful for my friends in Idaho and all over who have wished me a happy birthday. I love you all and my birthday would be nothing without the ones that I love.

Also on a side note I want to go ahead and say happy birthday to Elle Mele. Her birthday isn't for two weeks, but let's be honest. I probably won't write again before then. Elle. I know you don't read this, but I think that you are great and it's been a real privilege to be your friend and roommate. Love you woman!
